What Participants Get:
Mentorship and Development
6 weeks of intensive training before starting to work;
22 individual mentorship sessions;
18 methodological consultations;
60 hours of in-person training.
Employment as a Teacher and a Scholarship
Participation includes official employment in a school.
Fellows receive a teacher’s salary and a guaranteed scholarship from the Teach for Ukraine NGO.
Community Engagement
Participants join a like-minded community, form meaningful connections, receive branded merchandise, and attend internal and external events (including those hosted by partners and friends of the organization).

Requirements
You can join
The fellowship program if you:
Get a bachelor’s degree by September 1, 2025
Have excellent knowledge of one of the core subjects taught in grades 5–11
Are ready to relocate to a small town or village for 1 year (with the possibility of extension)
Can engage and motivate children to learn

Program Participation: What to Expect
Relocation
You will teach children in a school located in one of the communities in Kyiv, Odesa, or Poltava oblasts for 1 year, with the possibility of continuing.
Support
Our goal is to provide you with a successful teaching experience in a small town or village school and assist your leadership development.
Program learning components
Year 1
The fellowship focuses on developing participants as educators and leaders during wartime and post-war recovery.
BY THE END OF YEAR 1
Fellows become influential teachers and empathetic leaders actively involved in school life, expanding opportunities for children and organizing learning that considers the traumatic impact of the war on society.
Year 2
The fellowship focuses on developing participants as educational leaders and refining their teaching skills.
BY THE END OF THE YEAR 2
Fellows become skilled education professionals with enhanced leadership abilities, actively engaged in community life.
