Teach For Ukraine and UNICEF Developed a Calendar for Educators: “The Year of Brave Teachers”

The calendar “The Year of Brave Teachers” was created to serve as a daily reminder of the importance of caring for one’s mental health. Educators received this gift by sharing their experience using the chatbot assistant in their daily practice. The calendar was developed within the “Spilno for Teachers” project by the educational organization Teach For Ukraine NGO with support from UNICEF Ukraine as part of the “Together for Learning” initiative.

There is something magical about paper calendars: circled dates, notes, worn pages. And yet, they say time machines still don’t exist. This calendar was specially designed for brave teachers who confidently continue teaching despite hardships. Every month and day in it is dedicated to self-care and mental wellbeing.

Teach For Ukraine NGO decided to gift 100 desktop calendars for 2023 to educators. The calendar is made especially for brave teachers who, despite difficulties, keep teaching with confidence. That’s you, right?

We were delighted to read hundreds of positive feedbacks about how useful the chatbot has been in teachers’ daily practice. The giveaway is over, and all participants have received their gifts. We’re happy to have extended the holiday spirit for educators, even if just a little.
The calendar is now being actively used in educators’ daily routines.
