Since September 2024, Teach for Ukraine NGO, with support from the international humanitarian organization Save the Children and funding from the European Union, has been implementing the project “Ukrainian Consortium for Education Challenges Response: Safe Return to Learning” to help schools in de-occupied and frontline territories resume education amid war conditions. Together with partners, the organization assists schools in developing tailored strategies and provides necessary resources and support.

How Teach for Ukraine NGO helps schools
Our experts have carefully studied the needs of teachers, school leaders, and education authorities in affected regions. Based on these insights, we are currently developing materials, methodologies, and guidelines to create effective learning recovery strategies for each school.
Very soon, schools will receive detailed methodological recommendations and financial support to implement their plans.
Teach for Ukraine NGO also focuses on building educators’ capacities, as all strategy materials and plans are developed collaboratively with school and education management representatives.
By the end of April 2025, we will support the implementation of learning recovery strategies in schools across Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. Because every child deserves access to quality education, even under the toughest conditions.

We sincerely thank our partners, the European Union and Save the Children, for their unwavering support of teachers and Ukrainian education. We are confident this project will be a crucial step toward restoring Ukraine’s education system.
