LeadUp is a free program designed to develop leadership skills and self-awareness. The hub’s program was created by the educational organization NGO Teach For Ukraine with support from the international NGO Save the Children. Personality trait assessments, meetings with special guests, and fun ice-breakers with friends — all of this awaits students aged 14 to 17 during the autumn school holidays.
There are many stereotypes about leadership among teenagers. Often, people say that leaders are born, not made, or that after failures they will never succeed and fear making mistakes. That’s why LeadUp aims to create a space for self-discovery and reflection to promote conscious leadership in society. Using various methods, the program helps students learn to reflect, form their own positions, and compare themselves only with who they were yesterday — not with their classmates. During the hub, teens will work with trainers and mentors not only to develop their strengths but also to practice listening, understanding, and accepting others’ perspectives.
When: To avoid overloading students, the leadership hub will take place online during the autumn holidays, from October 24 to 28.
Format: Online sessions, 2 hours daily.
Participation is free; all you need to do is register. Those who complete the program will receive exclusive merch as a gift.
