Teach For Ukraine and Future Perfect are looking for motivated young people ready to teach English in small territorial communities across Ukraine as part of the Leadership and Teaching Program.
English remains a subject with high demand for teachers in small communities. Recruiting participants to teach English as part of the Teach For Ukraine program is one of the most challenging and top priorities, as the organization receives numerous requests from schools each year.
Program participation conditions for English teachers:
- Participants relocate for the duration of the program;
- Teach for one or two years in a small community in Kyiv or Odesa regions;
- Organize extracurricular activities;
- Host events for the local community.
Participants receive specialized training, a teacher’s salary, and a leadership scholarship that covers living expenses during the program.
Before starting teaching, all participants undergo the Summer Institute — 5 weeks of intensive pedagogical training including both theoretical and practical lessons to develop leadership skills and teaching mastery. Ongoing mentoring support is also provided during the teaching period.
Who can join?
To become a participant in Teach For Ukraine Fellowship program, you must::
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field by September 1, 2024 (a teaching degree is not required);
- Have strong English language skills (a test is required);
- Be willing to relocate to a small community for the duration of the program.
- The first application wave is open until March 31, 2024, inclusive.
